Your dog will finally have an answer to that one burning question…

Who’s a Good Boy?

“Every human wants the perfect dog.
It’s now time to give your dog a perfect human.”
— Brett Bailey

How It All Started…

Like many things in life, it all started over a girl.

She had two dogs that wouldn’t let me in, even after dating for six months.

It inspired me to study canine behavior.

These two dogs became my best friends and finally I was in.

I quickly grew a passion for the study of canine cognition.

Neuroscience and animal behavior became more important than methods and training techniques.

In my free time, I volunteered at shelters.

Walking, feeding, and eventually helping evaluate rescue dogs.

I worked with the dogs at the shelters whenever I had the opportunity.

I wanted to make a difference.

When shelter dogs were adopted out to their forever homes, the owners hired me to continue training.

I fell in love with the relationships I built with these dogs, but that wasn’t enough.

I wanted to do more.

I wanted to help the most difficult, troubled dogs.

Over the years, my primary work became rehabilitating dogs that suffer from fear and aggression.

I created coaching programs for puppies from 8 to 16 weeks to optimize their lives through that critical socialization period.

The first 10 years in the industry, my education was primarily focused on canine cognition.

I was determined to understand exactly how the brain operates on the other end of the leash.

This is what my programs are based on.

THE DOG’S “NEEDS” BEFORE THE HUMAN’S “WANTS”

My methods are tailored to the dog in front of me.

Much like humans, every dog has its own set of needs, its own unique personality.

Each dog requires specialized training in order to meet those needs.

“I believe in motivation before compliance.”

We cannot expect anything from a dog if we cannot teach it.

We cannot teach a dog if we cannot communicate with it.

We cannot communicate with a dog unless it is engaged with us.

This is why everything starts with engagement.
