Q: Why is it “who’s a good boy” and not “who’s a good girl?”

Q: How long have you been training for?

A: 18 years.

Q: What makes your training different?

A: Our strategy is based on the concept that emotion derived behavior. All programs are built to help the dog from an emotional state.

Q: What areas do you cover for in-person sessions?

A: Manhattan, Queens, The Bronx, Lower Westchester, and Bergen County, NJ.

Q: Do you offer a board and train program?

A: No.

Q: How do I book a session?

A: Please fill out an application listed on the website. You will be contacted and given date options based on your availability.

Q: When will I be contacted after submitting an application?

A: Submissions are responded to in the order they are received.

Q: How much is each session?

A: The first session which is an assessment and foundation session (virtual or in-person) starts at $250 and could vary based on distance. If toll is required, it will be included in the charge. Additional sessions and programs will be discussed post foundation session.

Q: What are the costs of your programs and how many sessions is each one?

A: Once we are able to see the results you have had with your dog (after the assessment foundation session), a tailored program will be created to ensure you are provided the best value.

Q: What should I expect during my first session?

A: Your first session will consist of assessment evaluation of your dog. Afterwards, we will discuss the details of your dogs needs and an understanding of a program that is needed to be followed to reach your goals. In addition, notes and remote support will be offered throughout.

Q: How long is each session?

A: The initial assessment foundation session in un-timed. We move at your dogs pace. Follow-up sessions are an average of 60 minutes to an hour and a half.

Q: How many sessions will I need?

A: Every dog and every relationship we have with our dog is different. Once seeing the results after the first session, you will be offered a program tailored for you and your dog which will tell us how many sessions we believe you should receive with your dog.

Q: What type of training methods do you use?

A: All methods that are decided are on a case by case basis. All strategies are created to help the dog from an emotional state. Emotion drives behavior! You will likely be using a combination of enrichment, play, obedience, and managment protocols.

Q: Do you use corrections and punishment?

A: We believe in motivation before compliance. We do not correct or punish a dog for how they feel. If any suppression is recommended for your dog, it will be discussed before moving forward.

Q: Are you currently taking dog’s with separation anxiety?

A: At this time we are not accepting client’s whose dog has separation anxiety.
